Maldives

The Maldives is an equatorial nation of islands in the Indian Ocean. There are 1192 islands in the nation, which span an area of 871 kilometers. There are 298 square kilometers of dry ground in the country, which has a total size of about 90,000 square kilometers. There are 26 atolls in a double chain made up of the islands.

The tourist is mesmerized by the country's distinctive geography.Reefs with colorful bands, little jewel-like islands rimmed with the softest, whitest sand, and the cleanest, shallowest waters one can imagine. Only 200 of the islands are inhabited, and only a few on each atoll are resorts. Some of the islands are also used for agriculture and industries.
